Thanks for the vid. I just successfully replaced my screen. I found the the ribbon connector from the display to motherboard very difficult to push in and align fully. Took a few attempts to get right.

The screen did not stick to the body. How do you hold onto the heat to hold
You need an adhesive strip kit that fits to the edges of the screen. These are available, usually sold separately from the screen. You can, I am told, use a glue to do this instead, but I have not tried it so I cannot recommend.

i have changed htc 10 screen because it broken half i didi it like in video I am tested it before closingit worked find but after closing the screen not work only the phone make vibration and sound i opened it again and tested broken screen and it work first time but know any screen doesn't work what is theproblem?? if the 2 srceen be crashed or the connector of screen not work??

Hi dear Repairs Universe i change my lcd, menu central button is working, i transfer it, but the 2 buttons (left and right) on the screen aren´t working and not responsive, are they integrated with lcd? there is any tip to make them work or i got a new defective lcd? thank you

You need to buy the charging port for the HTC 10, it comes with the navigation buttons built in and replace the whole thing. First check if the flex cable is in properly because it could just be loose but if not you broke it. Buy the charging port.
so i have the white screen on silver body, if i replaced it with the black screen would it work fine?
yes I did it, however.....good luck getting it to work again. The new screen will need NEW glue and the touch feature does not WANT TO WORK. I have to remove everything and install it again. I did it 4 times so far but it does not stay on.
R3uben what adhesive did you use? I got eco fused and still can't stick it to the frame properly. It doesn't hold

Yes new adhesive is applied. Although the application isn't shown at 9:50 we show the removal of the backing from the new adhesive.

For anyone who has this kind of issue often times the insides of computers, laptops and phones are very similar so the models cross over in the way that you repair them e.g. disconnecting ribbons and unclipping them, and undoing tape, they are transferable so if you cannot find your own model repaired how to guide watch a few others.
