review Sony Xperia XA1 Ultra - Review

Aku pernah beli xa & xa1. Tak sampai 3 tahun dua2 ada masalah touch screen padahal tak pernah jatuh pun. Akhirnya aku buang dua model ni. Lepas tu aku serik nak beli sony lagi. Sekarang ni aku pakai samsung j7 pro. Beli sejak 2017 sampai sekarang tahan. Cuma tukar touch screen sebab pecah atas kecuaian sendiri

A timeless design

These phones will all eventually develop an issue where the top of the screen is not responsive/no touch response. All of our Sony phones have developed this actually, including two XA1's a Z3 and an XZ. The first XA1 I sent in for repairs took 54 days to fix. No BS. I used to brag up Sony like no tomorrow, but now I'll never buy another one again.

I'm using this phone its an amazing I love it

this is the WORST phone I have ever had in my life.. it freezes all the time... it glitches all the time ... there is no way I can set up my photos in any kind of individual folders which is sooooo wack!....it over heated at some point and has a permanent burnt image on the side... the photo editing is horrible... the camera is probably the worst... might as well have bought a 40 dollar smart phone .... ugh I have buyers remorse soooo badly .... I should've stuck with my s8 plus ... FMLonly thing good about it is that the design looks cool... but what good is that if the entire damn thing doesn't even work!I bought it unlocked as well by the way ... ugh I should've learned my lesson with the horrible sony xperia z ultra ... my own fault ... sorry guys just ranting cause I forked over the money for an unlocked version ... having to do yet another factory reset

Be nice if this stupid phone allows me to put my apps where I WANT !!! I want my app on my home screen stupid Sony doesn't allow it. All that rim at the bottom you can't find the tabs to go back. The battery life is a joke. I'm not a child at 60 years old I don't stay on my phone yet it needs to be charged again. Never buying sony garbage again

Battery life is too short

I'm considering buying this phone simply for the camera combo. 23 mp rear and 16 mp front facing is a selling point for me. I've had a blu life pure for the last 4-5 years, which I originally paid almost $500 for because that's back when it was new to the market and at its peak selling price. But that phone has been a very dependable phone. And because I've always kept the clear plastic phone case that came with it on it, it still looks brand new. I've dropped it a few times over the years, but it's never cracked or broken in the slightest. I've never had a screen protector on it, and the screen still looks pretty darn good with no big or noticeable scratches. I've taken thousands of pictures and videos with that phone and it still serves the purpose to this day. The battery life isn't what it used to be and won't stay charged a full day now, but that's expected with an aging phone. I've gotten my money's worth ten times over with ol' blu. But as it goes, I'm ready to switch it up and try something different. The main thing I do with my phone is take pictures and videos. So, for me, the good camera combo is priority. My blu only has 13 mp rear camera and it's price was more than this all those years ago, so this seems like a pretty good deal. A much better camera, and, depending on where you purchase it, a couple hundred bucks cheaper.

What is the difference between the xa1 plus?

Was playing around with one recently and this phone is definitely the best "non-flagship" Phablet on the market.

I like OK Google than Hey Siri or Hey Alexa. AND THIS PHONE IS EVERYTHING I WANT =)

Honestly looks like a phone from the 2000s

Everything is ok but battery capacity is not satisfied. I love sony for its camera & sound quality but battery capacity hopeless me more. Its not fair. Pls SONY do something for ur battery life. We always want to be with u.

Dont understand why alot of these review channels dont focus on sound quality and output of mobile devices. A major part of the phone usage experience is listening to music. I purchased this phone based on generally good reviews about it and it looks good too, but when I head to the gym and plug in those earphones, the sound is so low and diminished even after setting all kinds of audio settings, bass boosters, equalizers, clear audio etc. It just doesnt cut it. At the moment, the best phones for sound output are iPhone and blackberry.
