Xperia barely works with any carriers in the US, can't use it with Verizon. These are not mini phones
'phones under 5 inches are rare'? apple makes three models, only one is above 5 inches, iphone is the most popular phone on earth, so how rare is it really when 66% of their phones are 'tiny'?

It really is depressing that this is pretty much the entire market nowadays sub 5". New X compact is a bit of a letdown too.

Neither. The iPhone will always be out of the question as I loath Apple.
The X Compact isn't a real Compact, it's more of a Mini. It has too many unacceptable compromises in 2016: no waterproofing, mid-range processor, no OIS on the camera, no wireless charging...
The waterproof is the worse 😟😟😟i miss that
The real mini winner is the iPhone SE :)
love your videos but i hope you improve on your comparison videos.. you just basically described the differences rather than showed them... i think people watching comparison videos already know the specs sheet.. they just want to see the actual differences...

Please dont play down the lack of 4k video recording. We record and takes pics for the future, in five years time will there even be FHD or HD monitors and TVs to buy?
Not even Sony claims that the X Compact can do that. The internet needs another false fact like it needs a 2nd....... But please prove me wrong, I would love if it could record in 4K without rooting and such. :)

How long I use the same phone is not even relevant when we speak about video resolutions.
Some people might look at old videos that they have taken in the past and might do that on 4K or even higher res displays. Speaking of dedicated devices I even heard of people using other displays to watch videos than their phones.
High resolution footage is something I think will be valued in the future, what do you think? What I look for in a phone is an all round device as good as possible.

I have the X compact myself and I miss the IP protection, the 4K video recording and the MHL video output all which were avaliable on the Z3 and Z5 compacts.

Dapdoi Ardon You don't want 4k recording and that's okay. But let the guy make the point. The x compact is a very good phone. I was thinking of buying it. It's a strong contender. But my needs are different. I had the z5 compact, I'm ready for a change and the complete package does not suit me.
Mini, haha, they are both big. Just not oversized like other "phones" today..
