repair LG V10 - Screen Repair

I recently purchased a spare V10 to replace the screen on my first, the first had water damage that has effected the screen moderately, but just enough that I can tell the mobo on the first phone is salvageable.The replacement V10 bootlooped, would it be safe to swap motherboards?

my v10 fell in water no power let sit for days now just got it in rice. how can I see if motherboard dead or battery? can you switch imei to another phone how to do it? or just change logic board?

After watching the video i have a few questions. Replacing the adhesive?????? granted i know it says do the steps in reverse but nothing is covered on whether new tape is applied. Do i use heat to make adhesive stick completely? Does the screen come with the adhesive already applied? Where do i place my new adhesive?
