Nick Ackerman Thank you for this video! I have wanted to see the G4 beside the G6 for a while. I love my G4, it's running 7.1.2 (LineageOS 14.1) and I get amazing performance and decent battery life. I thought about upgrading to the G6 as Ove had the G4 for a year now. But this video shows that I can wait a little while. Besides I have 4 good batteries for my G4 so They'll be useless when I upgrade.
I'd love a full comparison video too. Just put your settings into List Mode first! Haha.

Dude i did the boot test with you 3 times and the difference between your g4 and my g4 is nearly 10 seconds each time 10:9:9,5, that means your phone has sth or verizon is slowing it drastically down!
I would remake the test cuz the G6 isn´t that far away from the G4 the difference is about 3 seconds at the Booting test!

You should have cleared the tabs on both phones in the background. That would slow a phone down.
My G4 is faster than yours
Nobody gives a fuck that another phone can open up an app 1. second faster. I want the big difference like 5 second difference, then it's gonna be time to upgrade, I'd still say buy the Galaxy S4 because the S9 is only 3-4 seconds faster at everything yet the price difference is like huge, who else buys old flagships at full price? S9 ~ $800 S4 ~ $80
I have the lg g4 and its a glitchy laggy slow mess. Spotify keeps getting closed when I am just browsing instagram and turn the sound on a video.

still using g4, never had bootloop issue, working just fine. best phone i ever had. bought blue leather cover and even now it looks neat. battery is old so u cannot expect it to perform, but i have replaced it myself. 9/10. would give it 10 mark only if lg would upgrade os to 7.0 which never happened. next year probably will buy g6.
I love my G4, just ordered a G6, but that boot time on the G4 is very noticable. It makes you want to keep it in standby most of the time.
but my lg g4 verizon doesn't take that long to start

Proud G4 owner here. It's amazing. It has a couple of problems but I still love it. I'm going to buy the G6 soon though. I need an upgrade.
