I like all of the additional features of this laptop➖🍭>lnfo.help/Hp-ENVY?к The fingerprint reader works most of the time. I love how lightweight and compact it is and how the keyboard lights up at two different brightnesses. Overall, I love how small they were able to make this laptop without compromising the amount of keyboard and screen, due to the thin bezels. The fan is also veryyy quiet. The touch pad has worked for me very well so far. I am also able to use my AirPods with this laptop easily. I like the grips on the bottom of the laptop so it doesn't slide. The 4K resolution is way better than what I had before. The screen can get pretty bright but not quite bright enough for outside still.

Great product, with one exception: the keyboard. I have gone through 2 in 11 months, both replaced under warranty. Never clear what went wrong: either the keyboard battery (sealed unit) or the charging system; but the result was the same, no lights and no power to the keyboard.. Both times needed hours of online support to rule out software issues and over a week before HP received my keyboard, inspected it and shipped a new one The HP diagnostic software does not detect secondary battery faults (one would think thats a simple feature that would streamline warranty claims).
I am trying to switch off the keyboard religiously whenever its not in use to see if I can extend its life. Again, relocating the tiny on-off switch would help.

I just wanted to Thank you for your excellent review of the HP Envy x2 - 13t 13.3 (2014) Review. I bought one refurbished on Amazon, and have had it for about 3 weeks now. I am very happy with it, and use it every day in my business ( Commercial Security Consultant) - demoing commercial camera systems on the tablet portion ( mobile apps) - and also doing my quotes.
I also watched a couple of your other reviews; and liked them because I think that you do a very professional job of reviewing your produces, and stick with the main points that people want to hear about. Please keep up the good work! - Gregory

I watch a lot of your reviews and in fact bought the used hp envy x2 13t after watching ur video. Its good but the person didnt have the keyboard with it.
Now i am really desperate to find a place from where I can buy the original back lit keyboard (new or used)......

What would really help if that big red beats logo wasn't there, like a giant pimple.

The problem with Surface Pro and these Windows tablet is the Start Menu titles. People simply can't stand the tiles way of doing things. Apple home screen is a bit boring and Android home screen is very modular and customizeable. The Windows home screen is somewhere in the middle but a poorly designed home screen. It is messy and requires more work to resize and reorganize than both iOS and Android home screen. I wish MS could scrap this poor messy tiles in favor of a simple and easy to customize home screen.

gr8 tablet, i own the 15 inch model and its fab, only complain here is your face, find it difficult 2 bare....

Is the 15.6" the same as the 13.3"?
