review HP Elite X2 1012 G1 - Review

How is it running in 2023? Any lag?

@@aletius ​​⁠ I have the G2 version and​​⁠ I use it for heavy art and music projects and a lot of multimedia work and it works phenomenally. I've never been more satisfied with a computer that works this well at multiple different tasks that's also portable with a 2k display and a great touch-screen. The only two major problem is the in-built speakers and Windows not being a great touchscreen OS.

How's it serving you so far?
I'm considering getting this for my voiceover scripts, note taking and for viewing online courses.

Please can you tell us how it's been going as am looking to buy

@@darnleytalksvee-oh8990 two of the keys are not working anymore and the audio could be better. Rather too soft. 😭

@@haydentinyhomes I am not happy with its keyboard. Had to buy another usb keyboard to be able to type..

Lenovo ThinkPad

I did purchase one of these ex-lease HP Elite X2 notebook/tablets, but the first one I returned the next day as it looked like the previous owner had faced the camera into the bright Australian summer sun way too many times (large dead-areas on a very blurry image). However, I absolutely love the replacement unit they gave me!
Also found someone on eBay selling brand new pens for such a good price that I bought a pair in case one breaks, & incidentally HP apparently listened to their customers as mine has a pen storage-loop on the left side of the keypad!
