Both fruits look good why not just own both ?
1. Don't compare apple to orange or blackberry.2. What year is it? I thought no one would make an idiotic video like this nowadays. The only boot time comparison is okay is 2 almost identical device, same OS with only 1 different component.
Whoever subscribed to this channel need to unsubscribe, nothing personal but this video brings more harm than good.
I love too much the BlackBerry Passport. For me, that's the nicest phone ever seen!
i had this passport really a shit phone with strange apps like facebook and youtube videos in a strange aspect ratio. had hard times To even install viber. A real not a practical phone nothing works out of the Box. i dont advise To buy it.

The title say ~iPhone 6 iOS 8.1.2 vs. BlackBerry Passport - Which Is Faster? ~ .....''''WHICH IS FASTER ?'''''....and the only thing that you do is the reboot of the two phones....We know that the startup and the close of the bb is too slow, so yes..the iphone reboot is quicker than the bb..but the question is, if the iphone is more faster than the bb in the software etc..no the reboot..! Lol
That flashing light up in the corner was telling you the BlackBerry PassPort needed to be plugged in. When the BBPP is low in battery power, it takes longer to load and features are compromised so that vital software will load. Had the PP for near two years now and wouldn't part with it for any other phone. The most awesome cellphone to watch videos and/or movies on. HD! Oh, yay!

the boot up test is the most meaningless test to run on any device as a comparison, who really cares which phone boots up faster anyway?
+davesway The only reason the Blackberry is slower is because Blackberry runs an encryption process for each app when it starts up, unlike the iPhone. Just an extra security measure.
Booting on didnt take too much time because of CPU its because of starting on of all security systems.
Nah, hub is only simple app like messenger,but stuff for privacy are whole new software.That's the reason why you cannot hack them.
I'm guessing that iPhone 6 used at least 5% for starting up!
nothing new always BlackBerry take long time to reboot is normal and is not something to judge that the iPhone 6 better than the passport

By the way, the Passport takes that long because all or at least a the latest Blackberry devices especially secure the apps when starting the phone!

why are you comparing two different os booting speed ? ;] they are so different. blackberry 10 os is most stable os in the market.
the slower passport startup time is not because the iphone is faster, its because, other OS's go into a sleep mode and dont fully turn off. where as bb10 turns off. this saves a lot of battery life.
+Rahul P The Blackberry boot process is always very slow as on startup, the read only boot loader verifies all the operating system with it's security keys for modification or changes, then on the OS boot, the system will check all the apps, by calculating a digital hash, and compare them with the stored secure known hashes for comparison to detect any corruption or unwanted modification. It's part of the BB security model, and the more apps you have, the slower the boot time is.
Daniel Page with the latest update to the OS, the boot time is exponentially faster, slightly slower than the modern androids though. but you dont lose a percent on the battery when turned off in bb10 compared to androids
