If your iPhone 6s battery won't hold a charge and is constantly dying, you've found the right video! This easy to follow, step by step guide shows you how to safely replace your battery!

My battery replacement kit came with a replacement adhesive 'gasket' for the display assembly/rear case. This video omits instructions on how to install the adhesive gasket. Can anyone offer some advice, please?

Many YT videos assume you will use the old gasket, but mine was shredded and needed to be replaced. I don't see the gasket anywhere in this video as he reassembles the unit. Because of this, the display will simply fall out of the case! Beware! Start with the battery mounted in the case, then position the gasket to that the larger blue rectangular strip is at the BOTTOM and the smaller rounded-edge blue strip (whose shape matches the shape of the back case) is at the TOP. Remove the bottom rectangular strip, exposing the bottom of the gasket. The remaining top blue strip exactly matches the shape of the case, so you position it around the case edges. Take your time to do this. If you get it positioned correctly, it should drop into the case. Then use the plastic tool to burnish the gasket bottom to the case. Pay extra attention to the gasket ends at the bottom which have a tendency to not stick enough when you do the next step: peel off and remove the top gasket, now exposing the top of the gasket. You are now ready to attach the display with its 3 connectors, and then button up the unit. Here is a fast glimpse of that placing the gasket in the case and then burnishing the edges: youtu.be/1SwcQm14NZQ?si=iX9OzL_tYakpYXR3&t=250

I changed the battery successfully. After reading some comments here I disconnected the battery first and then the screen. After the battery replacement I connected the screen back and I connected the battery at last. Another tip: just let your battery deplete completely (even if itβs at 45% for example) for the first time and then recharge it 100%. Thank you for the video!

I really wouldn't recommend disconnecting the screen etc before disconnecting the battery.
Also, always use a plastic pry tool to remove connectors, not metal tweezers!

I highly appreciate the use of syntax and diction in your written proposal. I assert that it strengthened the delivery. A suggestion for the future would be to formulate a strong social media presence and broadcast your message on said platform(s) rather than within random YouTube videos.
