7 years later. Those pins are still giving upgraders grief. JDC 01, JDC 02, JDC 03, JDC 04, JDC 05, JDC 11. Huh? Where did the other six go?
I have this exact pc it will not start up there was a power surge and now it won't start up anymore the pc still turns on but it won't show on the screen the fan comes on for about 3 seconds then shuts off and the pc makes a beeping sound of about 3 beeps what is going on

Hey man I'm thinking about upgrading to the 3070 and an SSD on this computer. I inherited it from a friend about a year ago and I've never opened it up or anything and I don't have the user manual or box or anything. Do you happen to know if this 180w power adapter upgrade from Asus that you talked about will still be enough for me in this case? By the way I'm editing this bc I just realized our specs are different. My G20 has a i7-6700 and a GTX 1070. Thanks again!
I think you are better off building a completely new system. Your whole system is probably going to bottleneck a 3070 because its so old. I would suggest upgrading to a 1660 if you dont want to build a new pc but the 3070 would be way overkill.
@@ThePlanemadness Yeah i've come around to agreeing with what you said there. I figure I could sell my pre-build for around $700 to $800 online then I could build a pretty nice computer for little more than what I would have paid for the graphics card as far as my net total.

ThePlanemadness it’s the g20cb. It has asus strix 1070 which sells for like $400-$450 on its own (new), and an i7-6700 which sells for $400 on its own (new), so I should be able to sell it all for around that much
@@chandlerlewis3309 I mean you can always try but the thing is you can now get a ryzen 5 3600 which is only $200 and offers better performance than the i7 6700. Also a gtx 1660 costs less than your gpu but offers similar performance. Realistically no one is going to pay for hardware that offers less performance for a higher price. I know its sad but pcs are a pretty bad investment since their value drops so quick.
Hi! I upgraded mine to gtx 1650 (tdp= 75w, recommends a 300w psu too). Apparently, I didn't know about this before I went to upgrade my pc which came with a 180w power adapter and gtx 745. Now I already bought the 230w power adapter. Also, my gpu doesn't require pin like your 750 in the video. Should I enable both power supply for my gtx 1650 ?

tbh, I hate this computer. I got this as a birthday present while back, around 3 years ago. It couldn't handle anything and crashed all the time. I was only around 9 or 10 so I didn't do a whole lot of gaming, but after 2 years, it started to deteriorate quickly. This thing can barely run Roblox. If you're thinking of buying this thing while watching this video, I don't recommend it. It runs Windows 8 so you're not even going to be able to run Call of Duty: Modern Warfare; or at least mine couldn't.
Haha well the model I purchased came out in late 2014, I believe. So it's quite dated.
