There is a reason why I make sure I drain the battery till the phone won't turn on before I replace it. Its cuz these boneheaded companies glue them on so well that the pull-tabs break forcing me to manhandle the damn batteries out bending them most of the time so yeah...

My Pixel 3xl last week after the latest OTA update. Looks like my phone is stuck in EDL mode. Considering to open the phone badly. Not able to hold myself for weeks to wait for the battery to discharge in EDL mode. Hope the phone isn't briked🙏. No pixel 4/5/6 in India. Can't find OEM replacement parts. I'm not able to understand what to use as a alternative for back panel adhesive... Do you have any hints for this?

Where do we get more of that thermal pad/paste it it's got messed up? I have tried ifixit and Google, both pretty much told me to get bent.

Yep, totally didn't just shatter the back panel and accidentally rip out the fingerprint sensor connector.
Oh well, it was bricked anyway. I was hoping that reseating the battery would help, but alas

I know this video is a bit old but actually this was my personal phone until last week, I was using it and suddenly could see the screen just showing me 4 horizontal lines and then totally dead, my pixel didn't work again. Any idea what was the issue? Any possible fix? I'd appreciate your response :)
