Hey friend, how are you, I'm Arturo, I have a Dell Inspirion 24 7000 and I want to use a digital pen on this touch screen, do you know which one is compatible so that I can use it as a drawing tablet?
Hi - you can't use a pressure sensitive pen with this screen I'm afraid.
I own one and am trying to repurpose the monitor... the CPU/GPU is so outdated now

I don't have the machine any more, but I'm fairly sure it can go completely vertical - the spec lists -5° to completely flat.

Just a quick question, is the fan noisy? I read some comments online about the fans making too much noise... I'm concerned as I've just ordered the 5000 series. I think 5000 and 7000 would have similar noise?
I didn't notice much noise, but it will depend on the exact spec your get, and how hard you're working the computer.

Does the fan get loud? I have this exact same pc and the fan ramps up and down all the time, but the performance (boot time) for my pc seems faster than yours for some reason.
I didn't notice any fan noise - even when running the albeit brief benchmark. Have you had it long? May be worth giving it a blast with some compressed air if you've had it a while. But there are many variations of this model, so your spec may just require more cooling.
The Technology Man Yes mine has a 2TB HDD and an i7 6700HQ CPU with 16GB of ram, and my pc does get hot at its base really fast.
The Technology Man I already tried cleaning the fans and the result is still the same, could it be that the fans are faulty since they ramp up all the time even on underload.
When you first switch on the computer - physically unplug it - listen to the fan noise. Computers normally spin the fans at their maximum when you first switch on, and then they should go quiet or quieter at least. As long as this noise isn't rattly, and does quieten as Windows then loads - the fans are probably working ok. If they are running a lot - you may just have a lot of background processes running - try running a clean boot and see if is better. If it is better, remove every bit of junkware on the computer, or do a rebuild and see if it's better. It is a small enclosure with a high spec on your configuration, so the fans have to work hard!
