Now which one of these phones is still getting software updates and security patches? Which is still usable as a smartphone (browser and apps)? Classic has a good keyboard, and that is it. The iPhone is superior in every way.

Sorry but I think blackberry is better than iPhone from my personal experience. iPhone is only fad, and nothing more. Yes, BlackBerry have maybe too bad support than iPhone, but Blackberry users him not have as the fashion device. I vote for Blackberry in 1000%. I use BlackBerry phones for more than 6 years and always all in OK...
Of course it is also money and prestige, but that's not even about the phone !
I'm not trashing your opinion or anything because I agree that BlackBerrys are what a productivity phone should be, but you can't honestly believe the iPhone is a fad? It sells more and more every year while BlackBerry is slipping more and more every year (although I have strong hopes that the passport could be their turnaround). I don't see iPhones fading away any sooner than Android or Windows Phone, so I personally disagree that it's a fad.
+Nathan Wright The iPhone is designed for a wider clientele so I don't see it going away anytime soon (though I strongly think apple should actually innovate, instead of doing minor changes on each release). All in all, I think the smartphone industry tends to standardize and phone tend to look, feel and perform alike. Blackberry has always appeared to me as a tool that allows crazy performance, I wouldn't imagine myself using any other device as it perfectly meets my need for a tool that helps me do things quickly.
I believe there are no better or worst phones (though some devices seem to have more work behind them), just get something that fits your need and be happy :)

Good review but if you had to choose what would you pick?
iphone is just a fashion accesory, does a lot of things first, the phone comes in second, the bb it has a lot of limitations but its a phone, a work tool, cant ask for more
