2023, excellent video, my question is,is it worth doing this upgrade on this since this computer is not windows 11compatible ? or should I start from scratch?

greggiemoore any micro atx board will fit. I think a full size tax board will fit too, but it’ll be cramped. Get a board with the right amount of fan headers and RGB headers if you want them. Make sure it’s the same socket as your current cpu if you’re re-using it. Mine had an i5 6400. I upgraded to a brand new i7 6700k for $150 (which is a steal!!) It’s the same socket and generation, so no mods needed. Basically just make sure the ram and cpu specs match up to your current board if you’re re-using everything. Honestly though, the stock board is amazing for a prebuilt. My M32CD-AS51 has 2 usb2.0, 2 USB3.0 and 2 USB3.1 on the back with 2 USB3.0 on the front. I installed 2 case fans using a splitter due to this board only having one case fan header. For me, there’s nothing this board doesn’t have that I need. $650 all in on this prebuilt and I can play any game, do seamless VR and edit videos just like the $1000+ PC. And I have a dvd drive.. so the H110-I/M32CD/DP_MB is a great motherboard!
Can any brand of memory work on the Asus?
Hugh Betcha any “brand” yes, but they really need to be the same if you use 2 or 4 sticks. I wouldn’t run 2 different brands or speeds if you can help it. Make sure it’s DDR4 and this motherboard can only make use of 2133, so any higher speed would be money wasted. It also can only make use of 16gb, so don’t go buying two 16gb or four 8gb sticks. If you’re planing on installing 16gb, get two 8gb sticks of the same brand 2133mhz

What if the computer doesn’t recognize the extra ram. I have the exact computer and bought an exact second stick of the 8gb. So I have 2 8gb sticks of 2133 Hynix DDR4. Went into msconfig and the maximum ram setting is in ticker. Went to BIOS boot screen and it only shows 8gb. Under msinfo32 also only shows 8gb. Any help?
Nevermind. I just tried the 2nd stick by itself as no go, so that stick is bad. Thanks
Would an upgrade of CPU's cooling fan (liquid) and of the power supply enable me to mount a GTX 1080?
Daniele Molinari honestly, it depends on your CPU Bc better cooling might not be enough depending on what you have and will just bottleneck your GPU
Jarred Lima I mounted a 1070 Ti (literally almost a 1080). I was like “YESS YEEES AHAHAH”. CPU i7 6700 fan cooled, Corsair RM550x, SSD 1 TB, 16 GB RAM.
However, GPU was bigger than case, there’s a bump on the side 🤣

NumBO x what cpu do you have? Most likely yes but it depends on how much watts your other parts take up. If your not sure then go to psu calculator and check

On my M32CD I have 3 ram slots but TWO are filled... I never added any ram so why do I have two ram slots filled instead of 1?

Would this PC benefit from lower latency RAM? The RAM it comes with has CL11 but there is CL9 and CL8 RAM available at the same clock speed of 1600 MHz.
