your video was a great help. I goofed up and ordered a port assy for a 6S+and didn't fit. so with your video I was able to retrace my steps and got it all together. no missing screws, no extra screws. Thanks.

Very good video as always, I did the screen, battery, and charger port in one go, the screen and battery are fine but unfortunately the charger port doesn’t work, The antenna wire in my replacement was slightly too long which I’ve seen mentioned in a few comments so I guess this is common, I had to make a small loop in mine just to get it to align with the gold connection at the top, is it likely this is the problem? Any help appreciated!

Jeez lol for probably one of the most common repairs it’s almost like apple doesn’t want you to repair these yourself and buy a new phone instead. This is like hand surgery complicated

Did this repair last night but now my phone doesn't make any sounds, speakers don't work, vibration doesn't work. Can make phone calls and hear and talk. But can't listen to music, bluetooth works though with headphones and my car stereo.....Any advice on getting ringtones and vibration to work?

Great Video! Helped me a lot! My lightning connector failed and replacing the power port fixed the problem. Before sealing the display, I would gently turn on the phone and make sure the speaker, microphone and antenna works. My speaker failed to work on the first try and I had to remove the speakers and repositioned it. I think the wire was preventing the speaker from being seated properly. Everything works now!

Pdf chart was a great help! I did have one screw left over. All screws were accounted for. Have no idea where it came from. Maybe it was always in there.
