Couple of corrections that needs addressing the yoga tab 3 plus has a different soc to the tab 4 plus (yoga tab 3 plus snapdragon 652 1.8GHz, tab 4 plus snapdragon 625 2.02GHz) also another mistake of mine the yoga tab 3 plus has 32gb inbuilt storage not 64gb as I mentioned in the video. I hope this helps and make sure to stay tuned for more comparisons.

Can you do a speed test with the Lenovo tablet on this video and an iPad?

The Tab 3 was awesome. That stand was so useful, could fit on a window sill while doing dishes, or hang on the wall to watch videos in bed... why did they take it off the market? The battery bulge on the bottom was no issue, made it comfortable to hold and had amazing battery life and super stable on a tiny stand.. If anyone knows of a tablet with such a small stable stand or an accessory, please let me know!

I absolutely loved this tablet. JustU.Faith/Lenovo3Tab I say loved because after a road trip I was unpacking the car and it was on something I grabbed. It fell right on the concrete on the corner. I decided to get the Lenovo yoga book and I have used it once. I loved this one so much more.

I have both of these Tablets and TBH they are very very similar in operation and performance..I prefer the yoga tab 3 but that's just because It is not so slippy in the hand but for the price, these are great tablets for their prices.. battery life is great to..

I have to agree I do prefer the yoga tab 3 manly due to the kick stand and great sound however I have since switched to the Huawei mediapad m5 which is the same form factor as the Lenovo tab 4 pro

Your testing your internet. Not the performance of the devices. Jesus.

Yoga is more ergonomic. The bulky battery compartment is actually very comfortable for holding the tablet upright.

This is a very flawed test. It's obvious that your internet connection or router/accesspoint is holding the devices back, there's no point in running a speedtest to show the performance of the devices when something other than the device itself is the bottleneck. Also, you can't run both of them at the same time towards the same router/accesspoint/internetconnection unless all these three are redundant enough to still max out both of the devices capabilities, which is obviously not the case.
This test is like racing a Ferrari versus a Prius on a 50 km/h one lane road with a tractor infront of them if you get what i'm saying :^)
A fair test would be one lane each with no speed limit and no obstacles in the way.
In other words: make sure your router and accesspoint can handle speeds well above what the clients are capable of, run one of them at a time, in the same spot, and have a fast enough internet connection. If you cannot get a fast enough internet connection or do not want to pay for one, do a local test.

You also need to run several tests alternating between both of them and then calculate the average to get rid of outside interference.

also hes running the test at the same time so both devices are sharing that network speed in and out.

Agreed, you effectively let them battle for the same bandwith. For comparison, my phone manages to saturate entire internet connection when it's on wifi (76/20 MB), but when there are other devices connected, I get lower speeds on speed test.
I would suggest to run them one at the time, ensuring they are connected on the same wifi (try to separate SSIDs for the 2.4 and 5GHz bands and run tablets on both bands). That should give you more realistic results.

Why do you call it Alimenimum? It’s Aluminum. Exactly like it’s spelled, Alu Min ium.
- @BarneysTechWorld
- 1 January 2018 in 06:56
+BenMJay I don't call it "Alimenimum" it's Aluminium that's how it is spelt and pronounced here in the UK. If you are American you should know that there are many words that mean the same thing however one is spelt and pronounced under British English and the other is spelt and pronounced under American English

I fail to see the purpose in showing that two machines are within one second of processor speed? I would be more interested to see how long they each take to be located by their GPS or GLONASS while booting up a maps app.

Do you know if Lenovo Tab 4 has accelerometer and magnetometer sensors ?, you could see it with "Sensor Kinetics" application of PlayStore. I have a Yoga Tab 3 and it has this sensors. Best regards
