Hi there, I've read some of the comments but am still a bit unclear. I have an Omen 880-126na desktop. I understand that the computer has four slots for hard drives. This video is about removing and replacing HDDs but I want to add extra HDDs to increase my storage. I want to keep the existing factory 2TB HDD and add additional Int HDD drives.

I was wondering, is there a maximum amount of hard drive space that the Omen can operate at, or could i use any hard drive, as long as its 3.5 inches long?

yes it is only one , you must buy another if you want to install an SSD or a second HDD
- @MitsoSoup
- 17 September 2019 in 06:03
@@mrjohniet1 If you buy a second cable and an small SSD (I will only use for one game, World of Warcraft), would that be the secondary aka top slot or bottom? Basically, is there a reason the guy in the video said the main one should always be in the bottom?
Thanks in advance

6 extra steps
You won't see the NEW Drive after you power the system up until you configure the new internal memory HD.
6 extra steps needed to configure the Added Hard Drive after the physical equipment installation.
What I did was add an additional internal HD for more Memory, and kept the factory HD. I bought a 4TB WD Blue, and SATA cord for my HP Omen 870-244. I gently used needle nose pliers to plug the SATA cord into the mother-board. I couldn't get my large fingers back there but you might.
Easy plug and play but you still have to configure the new Hard Drive for the OP system to recognize.
6 Extra Steps.
1. PRESS: Windows Key and (r) key
2. Type: diskmgmt.msc when box opens
3. Click on new drive when box opens
4. Right Click on "unallocated" graph looking bar
5. Click: New Simple Volume
6. Follow wizard instruction; NEXT
