I purchased this because of your recommendation. It was a great tool and I used it for years. Unfortunately, they have recently (in the last 4-5 months) begun requiring an account to use the app, effectively bricking a device unless you're willing to comply. This was not required for use when I purchased it and should not be required now. I highly recommend against buying one of these now. Hopefully you'll have the time to review some more privacy-focused OBDII scanners (not a thing I imagined ever saying but we are in 2025 I guess).

Can you do a video on diagnosing transmission code using the BlueDriver tool?

I have a Toyota Vitz (japanese version of Yaris HB) will this work for it?

One question about this blue driver scanner.
If you can just clear codes, wouldn't low-end car dealers buy this tool and clear every car that comes into their lot? And when someone wants to buy a car, there are no more codes ?
Little confused about that.

Does it read transmission temperature

Seems like they’ve had 10 years to perfect this so I’m getting one for sure

If my vehicle is in limp mode and I clear the code, will it clear the code on the vehicle computer, too?

Mine is red but it’s paired and even the lights on the blue driver is off I’m still scanning the code how weird

So is there an Android-intended one, and an iOS one, or can each gizmo do both?
