The entire line of VIVO computers especially the m32cd versions are huge piles of 100% garbage. They have many known issues, bios issues, boot issues, architectural and engineering flaws... do yourself a favor, do not buy ASUS. I'm a retired computer engineer and I'm being very honest with you. You will both regret and hate yourself if you do not heed this friendly warning.

As a computer it'll last sure, even if you neglect it as most casual PC owners do. Never had an issue with overheating but I always clean out dust on set intervals.
Someone is offering me this same rig for $250. I plan to use for equal amounts gaming and audio production. I've been scouring craigslist and ebay for a deal on similiar machines; optiplexes, pavilions, compaqs, and others but nothing within my price range till now. Should I go for it? Won't be able to pour any money into it at the moment since after I buy it will have to save up once again for other stuff like a good video card. Has got an i5-6400 and 8gb ram...should I?
Personal preference here. If your budget is sub $300 for a gaming rig then the games and how high the graphics are set will be severely limited. Almost better to go for a used alienware alpha. This asus will run some games, but you wont be smoothly playing much without a graphics card added.
Thanks for your feedback, most appreciated. Guess I'll think about it and sniff around for an alienware rig in the meantime. Just one last question, if I do happen to go for the asus, could you recommend a graphics card? Doesn't have to be top of the line but i'll make a sacrifice. Once again, thanks.
A lot of personal preference needed on that to. Depends what you want to play. Although I wouldn't go more than a GTX 950 http://amzn.to/2vkxFv9 unless you're upgrading the power supply as well.
would i void the warranty installing a graphics card?
Generally with Asus if you have to remove a seal sticker or remove a stock component it would void the warranty. Just adding a card should be fine, but if you have to use the warranty and send the actual unit in just do so in its original stock setup.
