You say that the 5s screen should fit the se…. I don’t think it does. The 3 strips next to the earpiece have different plug sockets.
I just tried replacing my smashed screen with a good screen from an old 5s 😢

How to fìx iphon 16

My I Phone 6S, has the screen separating from the bottom going up. At the very
bottom it's OK, then gradually on an angle starts to separate more and more as
you move toward the top of the casing where it's separated more than 1/4 inch ?
Suprisingly the phone still works, and I'd like to save it, as I'm happy with my Iphone 6s
and I don't like changing things. Anyone have any advice. It was never dropped, and
not near heat or water, and was lying on my couch "unused" for 6 months, then I
picked it up to see my screen is separated. Maybe like this skilled tech says, it's
from the battery expansion from the heat inside it. Hope it can be fixed.

Okay so I know this video is 7 years old... But sadly I am still using my iPhone SE I bought a long time ago when I didn't have an illness and was able to work. I was so glad your instructions were all pretty clear. Apart from the "Seating the screen back into the frame after the replacement. Do you have any tips for that? Whenever I try it all kind of "snaps" into place but there is a clear ridge at the top where the screen has not sat flush. So I am scared to force it since this is my only phone and for now I am just using it without the screen being pushed in and the last two screws put in place. ALSO - I had this phone repaired by a repair store before. And 4 screws and two metal panels were missing! I wanted to repair myself because they charge a lot of money for the repair and I got my screen from eBay for 20$ and it is brighter than the replacement screen from the repair store! I think they scammed me with a used screen in my repair and then they didn't even put all the panels and screws back in!
