I just tried several 5S screens on a Iphone 5 SE A1723 which are reported to be the same. My screens are direct from Asia and not related to the above video. None of the screens worked properly with a vertical bar down the lcd or weird tearing of the apple logo. The same screens work perfectly on regular 5s. The original screen has a broken digitizer but the LCD is perfect with no lines. The 5se was brand new 2 days old.
Does anyone have any input on this....are the 5se screens different that the 5s?

I have 4 problems with this video. 1 you do not need to remove the sim tray for this repair. 2 they did not disconnect the battery before doing the repair. 3 you should never use metal tweezers to un-hook your flex connectors especially since you didn't disconnect the battery use a fingernail or a plastic pry tool and 4 you do not need to remove the copper ground tape from the metal back plate as you are going to transfer it to the new screen anyway. Other than that great information.
